📢 Gator Tales – Ride of the Week
This week, we spotlight an unforgettable Gator Tale all the way from Europe. Meet Frank Reimann — now known around here as 5-Star Frank — who joined us during his recent holiday in Florida. While staying near Orlando, Frank and his friends searched for an authentic Florida swamp experience, and their journey brought them right to Crazy Gator Airboat Tours in St. Cloud.
Frank first lived in Florida back in 1990 as an exchange student — but never had the chance to take an airboat tour. This year, he returned with friends and finally checked that box. Booking a Scenic Tour with Captain Tris, they took off across Lake Tohopekaliga, the heart of our Florida airboat adventures.
On March 25th, Frank’s crew boarded their airboat and got front-row seats to real Florida wildlife. As they glided past lily pads and sunning gators, Frank soaked up every second of the 22,700-acre wetland we call home. From alligator encounters to wide-open skies, the moment left an impression:
But Frank’s Crazy Gator story didn’t end at the dock. He wanted a souvenir shirt to commemorate his first gator tour — but we didn’t have his size in stock. That’s when our teammate Cora stepped in.
She promised Frank that once new shirts arrived, she’d ship one directly to him in Germany. Weeks later, he received a surprise package with his custom-sized Crazy Gator shirt — a gesture he described as “special” and “unforgettable.”
